A huge
thank you to everyone who supported this year's
Christian Aid Week. Due to the Covid restrictions we
have been unable to hold any events for the last two
years. This year however we were able to have one event,
namely the Big Breakfast. A total of 26 people attended
with many others giving donations.
A massive thank you to the hardworking team who shopped,
prepared, cooked, set up tables, sold raffle tickets and
cleared up afterwards. Also to those who donated raffle
prizes.
Together with red envelope donations, a total of
£624.90 was raised and with gift aid another £65.00
will be added, bringing it to £689.90 in total. A
little lower than the previous year's but still a good
response.
The money raised this year will help to support the DEC
Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Through the DEC emergency
Christian Aid Appeal CA has already donated £1 Million
for first aid kits, pharmaceutical equipment and
supplies for Ukraine.
