Music - Come and be a Chorister

Sunday 12th October 2025

We are delighted to invite girls and boys aged 7 and above to join us for our Come Be a Chorister event - a wonderful opportunity to experience a day in the life of a chorister.

The day begins with arrival at the church by 9:00am, where children will be welcomed and take part in a morning rehearsal with the full choir. This is a great chance to discover what it feels like to sing as part of a large, supportive group.

At 10:15am, the children will sing with the choir for the Parish Mass, giving them the exciting experience of performing beautiful music in a real service setting.

After Mass, there will be refreshments for everyone and an information session for parents, where you can find out more about what it means to be a chorister, the opportunities it provides, and how to get involved.

The morning concludes with lunch in the Parish Centre for children and their families. The event finishes at approximately 1:00 pm.

This is a relaxed and welcoming event - no prior experience is needed, just an interest in music and a willingness to have fun!
